Joyce A. McKeogh

Joyce A. (Kielty) McKeogh, 97, of Fitchburg died on Friday, August 30th in Rose Monahan Hospice Home.

   Her husband John D. McKeogh died in 2014.  She leaves three sons; John M. McKeogh and his wife Patricia of Folsom, CA, Richard P. McKeogh and his wife Susi of Worcester and Daniel C. McKeogh and his wife Carol of Gardner, two daughters Marcia L. McKeogh of Nashville, TN and Paula J. McKeogh of Ashburnham, a sister Angela Goguen of Fitchburg, a niece Joyce, three nephews Mark, Gary & Steven, nine grandchildren; Katie, Michael, Carl, Patrick, Kelly, Molly, Brendan, Darren & Quintan and four great grandchildren.

   Joyce was born in Fitchburg, daughter of Paul C. and Helen (Joyce) Kielty.  She graduated from St. Bernard's High School. After getting married Joyce and John moved to West Boylston where they raised their family.  She was a longtime member of the Guild of Harwich Artists.  A former member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.  She enjoyed gardening, traveling and jazz music.  Family was very important to Joyce she loved spending time with her extended family especially during the holidays.

  Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4 from 10:00-11:00 AM in Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston.  Followed by a service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, West Boylston.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
