Worcester- Juan "Pito" E. Hernandez, 50, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Saint Vincent Hospital.
Juan was born October 9, 1969 a son of Alejandrina Hernandez Roldan and Juan Esteban Hernandez Ortiz. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Most recently Juan was employed by Clark University in the housekeeping department and had worked at Polar Beverages, Tjmax, KFC, and Wrightline.
Pito enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time at the casino, dancing and the movies. Those that knew him appreciated his comedic ways and his ability to make them laugh. He always cherished any time he had with his family and friends, especially when on vacations.
Juan leaves behind many that will miss him, especially the love of his life, Leyka Maldonado; his children Juan S. Hernandez, Tiaraliz Ortiz, Juan M. Hernandez, Alexandra Hernandez, Juan F. Hernandez; his siblings Juancito, Junito, Josefina, Carmen, Lucy, Mery, Aurora, Ricky, Jorge, Felo, Maria and Jose; his beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Pito's life on Friday, September 11 with visiting hours from 8:00am-11:00am at Callahan, Fay and Caswell Life Celebration Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am and be followed by a burial at Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
