Judith M. Roy

Judith M (Fray) Roy, 77, passed away unexpectedly at home in West Boylston on March 28, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth E. Roy, the love of her life, her parents, Chester and Angeline (Rotondo) Fray, and her niece Alison Roy.

Judy was a lifelong resident of West Boylston and loved all things "West Boylston". She graduated from West Boylston High School in 1965 and completed her BS and Masters degrees in Education from Worcester State College.

She was a beloved teacher in the West Boylston schools, with many commendations and awards for her pride and work ethic. She inspired her students with a love of learning and encouraged them to reach for the stars.

Judy retired after 25 devoted years in the school system.

Judy leaves her brother in law, John Roy of Sutton, wife Barbara, niece Melissa of Hilton Head, nephew Matthew of Douglas, wife Tara, and her three great nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, a private service was held and she was laid to rest in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

Many many thanks to her wonderful friends and former coworkers.
