WORCESTER-Julia A. (Dejarnette) Miller, 51, of 4 Crown Street, died peacefully, Tuesday, December 13 in UMASS Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She leaves her husband, Michael B. Miller, a daughter, Marie A., wife of Alex Benelkour, her mother, Nettie (Deramus) Dejarnette, two foster children, Theresa and Stephen Orcutt, a brother, Alexander Dejarnette all of Worcester, a sister, Wanda Dejarnette of Oklahoma, many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and close friends. Two brothers, Carl and Eltoro Dejarnette predeceased her.

Julia was born in Verbena, Alabama, daughter of Obdie Dejarnette and was a graduate of Boston College. Mrs. Julia Miller was an ordained minister. She always dedicated herself to helping others and was an active member of the church. Julia was dearly loved and will be missed by her family and friends.

The funeral will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 16, in Second Baptist Church, 14 Hammond Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held from 10 to 11 the morning of the funeral in the church. CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. is directing arrangements.
