Julian J. Brooks

WORCESTER- Julian J. Brooks, 80, of Worcester, died Tues., Oct. 7 at Kindred Hospital in Leicester. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Joyce A. (Rockwood) Brooks; four sons, Julian Brier of Conway, MA, Anthony Brier of Concord, MA, Shawn Brier and Michael Brooks, both of Worcester; two daughters, Yvonne Brooks and Ann Marie Brooks, both of Worcester; fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a daughter Joyce Brier, two brothers, George and Paul and two sisters, Doris and Mary.

He was born in Worcester son of George and Yvonne B. (Marcotte) Brooks. Julian worked for A. Vallone and Sons Asphalt Company for over 48 years. He was a car enthusiast and especially enjoyed his collection of Cadillac's. He loved spending time with his family and will be missed.

The funeral will be held on Fri., Oct. 10 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be private.
