June M. (Smith) Pellegrini 69, of 1048 North Brookfield Rd., formerly of West Boylston died Sunday (Sept 29) in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester after an illness.

Her husband of 45 years, George A. "GiGi" Pellegrini died in May. She leaves four daughters, Patricia Bidgood of West Boylston, Lisa Taylor of Oakham, Cheryl Pellegrini of Leominster, and JoAnn Tobey of San Jose, CA, a sister, Linda Marchi of Woburn, six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was born in Cranston, RI, daughter of Albert Smith and Ruth (Winkler) Marchi.

She graduated from Girls English in Boston and lived many years in Everett and more than 20 years in West Boylston before moving to Oakham several years ago.

Mrs. Pellegrini owned and operated GiGi's Restaurant in Shrewbury with her husband for several years before retiring.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday (Oct 4) at 1 p.m. in Saint John's Cemetery, Lancaster. There are no calling hours.
