Kathleen E. Molloy, 92, of 35 Holy Family Rd., passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Mount St. Vincent Health Care Center in Holyoke, MA.
Kathleen was born January 19, 1927 in Auburn, the daughter of the late James M. Gertrude J. (Daley).
Kathleen leaves behind her sister, Sr. Janice A. Molloy S.S.J. of West Springfield; Her beloved second cousins, Anne Wattmann of Delaware and Mike Daley of Pennsylvania. She also leaves behind 3 nieces and 6 nephews including Robert J. Sullivan of Worcester.
Kathleen is predeceased by her five brothers, John, Edmund, Robert, Paul and Donald, and her sisters, Mary G. Sullivan and Sr. Elizabeth J. Molloy S.S.J.
Kathleen attended Boston College and received her Masters Degree in Education from the then Worcester State College. She did advance studies in DePaul Univ., and Rosary Hill College.
Miss Molloy worked for several years in the Dudley and Auburn school systems. She also spent several years working in the offices of the Diocese of Worcester.
The family would like to pass along a special thank you to the wonderful people at Mount St. Vincent Care Center in Holyoke for the fantastic care and love they showed upon Kathleen.
In memory of Kathleen, donations may be made to The Sisters of St. Joseph Development Office, 577 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
The Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
