Kenneth E. Johnson

WORCESTER-Kenneth E. Johnson, 77, of Worcester, died Friday, March 27 in UMASS Memorial Hospital. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Virginia M. (Flynn) Johnson; two sons, Kenneth J. Johnson of Portland, OR and James M. Johnson of CT; a daughter, Diane M. Derrah, wife of Christopher of West Boylston and seven grandchildren. He also leaves a brother, Robert Johnson of Cherry Valley; a sister, Helen Peterson, wife of David of Whitinsville; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A daughter Virginia Ann Johnson predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, son of Clarence and Florence (Swenson) Johnson. Ken worked for Marois Brothers, Inc. for over thirty years. He was a longtime member of St. George's Church and its Men's Club and the Teamsters Union Local No. 170. Ken was a wonderful person and will be missed by his family and many friends.
The funeral will be held on Monday, March 30 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. George's Church, 40 Brattle Street, Worc.
