L V "Billy" Burrell

WORCESTER- LV (Billy) Burrell, 67, died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at UMass Memorial Hospital.

LV was born in Indianola, MS, son of the late Henry Lee and Mary (Adams) Burrell. He was a landscaper by trade and worked for various companies throughout the years and he was also a die-hard sports fan.

He is survived by his wife, Sonja L. (Roberson) Burrell; four children, William L., Daniel L., Ashayla L. and Brittney L. Burrell and five beautiful grandchildren, Jaiden, Jarrid, Jaxson, Jailee and Ava Jade. L.V. also leaves nine siblings, Ezell (Sherri Hampton), Sammie, Carla, Henrean (Bernard Mungai), Louise, Doris (Steven Hyman), Rebecca, Rose Gaines (Dirus) and Ethel Mayo (Stephen) and many nieces and nephews.

L.V. was predeceased by his sisters, Maryann (Burrell) Greer, Deloris (Burrell) Wheeler, Gloria Dean (Burrell) King, brother Luther Lee Burrell and step-brother, Henry Appleberry.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Wednesday, December 2nd from 10:00am until 11:00am at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
