Lawrence Paul Fuller, Jr.

BERLIN-Lawrence P. Fuller, 85, passed away after a short illness on Sunday, August 30 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester

Larry grew up in West Boylston, son of Lawrence P Fuller and Nellie R Gambaccini, and graduated from West Boylston High School. After completing his service in the US Navy, he earned a diploma from Ollis Hairdressing Academy in Worcester and established his own hairdressing business.

He moved to Georgia, where he started a Christian school, and later retired to Florida. He had a green thumb and wherever he lived he always had a beautiful vegetable garden that was a point of great pride. He was also an excellent cook. If Larry was in the kitchen, you knew it would be good!

A true New Englander at heart, he moved back to central MA in 2012. He was proud to be a Mayflower descendant and enjoyed an annual trip to Plymouth. He had a strong faith in the Lord and was involved in the former Christ Center of Sterling and enjoyed studying the bible and ministering.

Larry loved to have fun, whether playing board games, pulling a mischievous prank, going on adventurous ‘rail trail’ walks, or dancing to the “oldies” in his living room with his wife. His smile and generosity will be greatly missed. He loved his family very much and spoke of them often.

Larry leaves behind his wife, Anne “Tina” Fuller; sons Brent Fuller of Gainesville, Georgia and Brian Fuller of Las Vegas, Nevada; step-daughters Ann Shepardson of France, Margaret Shepardson-Legere of Gardner and Elizabeth (Richard) Braconnier of Lancaster; grandchildren Nathaniel Fuller of Asheville, NC and Heather Fuller of Flagler Beach, FL as well as great grandchildren; step grand-children Alexander and Louis Pondaven of France; Jonathan Leger of Portland, ME, Sasha and Anna Legere of Crested Butte, CO; Aiden Schnare of Lancaster, William and Alana Braconnier of Lancaster; sister Lorraine M White of Goldsboro, NC; nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours are Thursday, September 3 from 4 to 6pm at Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston. A Funeral will be held Friday, September 4 at 11am in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
