Leo J. Kruczynski 87, of 40 Windham St. died Sunday, April 25, at UMass Memorial Medical Center-Belmont St. Campus.
His wife of 64 years, Jane (Kackiela) Kruczynski died in January. He leaves a son, Richard S. and his wife, Julie A. Kruczynski of Worcester; a daughter, Lucia A. and her husband, James J. Tracy Jr. of East Greenwich, RI; three brothers, Victor Kruczynski and Peter Kruczynski both of Worcester and Chester Kruczynski of Shrewsbury; three sisters, Jean Zukas and Theresa Serafin both of Worcester and Angela Stakun of Doylestown, PA; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A son Lt. Col. Leonard Kruczynski and a brother, Stanley Kruczynski predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Stanislaw and Aleksandra (Lewonczyk) Kruczynski and graduated from Commerce High School.
Mr. Kruczynski was a Supervisor at Wright Machine Company for many years, retiring in 1983.
The Funeral will be held Friday, April 30, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 9 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary, Church, 25 Fales St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling Hours, Thursday, April 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to UMass Memorial Healthcare-Cardiac Unit, 119 Belmont St. Worcester 01605.
