Leo E. Meunier, 80, of 21 Barclay St. died Tuesday, April 19, in the Marlboro Hills.His wife of 48 years, Agnes B. (Lareau) Meunier died in March. He leaves a son, Edward Meunier of Worcester; a daughter, Gwen Meunier of Worcester; a sister, Helen Monnette of Worcester; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A son, Bruce Meunier and two brothers, Roland and Alfred, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Euclide and Yvonne (Hebert) Meunier and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School and was an Army Veteran of the WWII.
Mr. Meunier was a plumber for Worcester State College, prior to that he was a plumber for UMASS Medical Center. He was a member of Plumber's Local %234 Union and St. Stephen's Church.
The funeral will be held Monday, March 25, from CALLAHAN AND FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling Hours Sunday, March 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
