Leon F. Plouffe 71, of 29 Tyson Rd. died Friday (Aug23) at the Hermitage Nursing Home.

He leaves his wife of 52 years, Doris R. (Parenteau) Plouffe, a son, Stephen W. Plouffe of Lexington, two daughters, Dianne M. Dagostino of . Jefferson and Lynn A. Stevens of Worcester, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, several nephews and nieces. A Brother, Robert Plouffe and two sisters Roberta Plouffe and Margaret Cusson all of Worcester predeceased him.

He was born in Worcester son of Leon F. and Ella (Bellville) Plouffe.

He worked at The Worcester Club for many years retiring eight years ago, previously he worked at the Worcester County Club and the Smith Valve Company for 25 years.

He was a member of Saint Christopher's Church.

A Funeral will be held Monday (Aug26) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 West Boylston (www.faybrothers.com) West Boylston with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Christopher's Church 950 West Boylston St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling Hours are Monday (Aug.26) from 8 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
