Librada Soto, 92, of the Lutheran Home, died Wednesday, May 25. Her husband Fautino Alamo died in 1995. She leaves six children, Myriam Alamo, Gigi Santana, Felicita Cotto, and Anibal Torres all of Worcester, Leida Alamo and Elba Lydia Valle both of Puerto Rico; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. She was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, daughter of Francisco and Telefora (Rivera) Soto.
Librada was a seamstress in New York City, before retiring and coming to live in Worcester. She was a member of St. Paul's Cathedral.
The funeral will be held Friday, May 27, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Cathedral, 15 Chatham St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling Hours are Thursday, May 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
