WEST BOYLSTON- Lillian C. Sepavich Bagdis passed away peacefully on November 14, 2017 at Beaumont Nursing Home in Worcester. She was 94.
Born in Worcester a daughter of the late George Bendoraitis and Anna (Vieraitis), she attended local schools and graduated from Commerce High School in 1941. Mrs. Bagdis worked as a secretary at the former Duncan Gillis Company before retiring at age 62. Her love in life was music and she pursued this by joining the Sweet Adeline's Post Road Chorus where she was a member for over thirty years. She and her husband spent much time taking in the beautiful views of Narragansett Bay on their boat. Mrs. Bagdis also enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod, particularly around the Dennis area. Special memories were made when her daughter Diane surprised her with a three-week trip to California upon her retirment from Duncan Gillis. She will always be remembered for love of cooking Lithuanian dishes and her famous pecan pie.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, Diane Bercovitz and her husband, Benson, with whom she lived; her granddaughter Emily Sepavich and her great grandson, Jaxson Starbard of Worcester along with nieces, Roberta, Charlene and a nephew Richard.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Vitty Sepavich and her second husband, Bernard Bagdis as well as her son Robert Sepavich.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Maria Noj, Lillian's friend and personal health care provider for the past three years.
Family and friends will honor, remember and celebrate her wonderful life by gathering for visiting hours on Friday, November 17th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 18th at 12 noon at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., West Boylston. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery.
