Linda (Griffith) Finan

LEICESTER - Linda (Griffith) Finan, 84, died peacefully at home with her loved ones by her side, on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

She was born in Plainfield, NJ, daughter of the late Clifford O. and Pauline (Montgomery) Griffith, both of Worcester. Linda met her late husband Terence (Terry) P. Finan at Clark University where she majored in English. Both Linda and Terry volunteered many years in the Town of Leicester where she served on the Zoning Board of Appeals for 40 years and the Leicester Recycling Center where she handled the books and magazines. We all know where a lot, A LOT of those books and magazines ended up. Not only did Terry volunteer, but he also worked as the Town Accountant as well. Linda and Terry also published and distributed the local paper, the “Leicester Journal.”  Linda was a member of the First Unitarian Church of Worcester. She also worked in the insurance industry.

Linda is, and will forever be dearly missed by her daughter, May F. de Jesus, with whom she lived, her grandson, Terence M. Graves and his children, Terence Jr., and Leanie.

Interment will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery, 208 Pine Street, N. Spencer Road, Spencer. The date and time will be announced.
