Lois B. Kenworthy

WORCESTER
Lois B. (Brotherton) Kenworthy, 79, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 14 at St. Vincent Hospital. Lois joins her beloved husband of 52 years, Robert B. Kenworthy who predeceased her in 2005.
She is survived by her daughters, Corinne H. Arnold and her husband Stephen of Dudley and Carol J. Wilcox and her husband, Alan of Auburn; a son, Keith B. Kenworthy of Lafayette, IN; seven grandchildren, Brett and Ross Sullivan, Alicia and Brianna Kenworthy, Laura, Jena Lois, and Sarah Wilcox; and nieces and nephews. A son, John R. Kenworthy and two brothers, George Brotherton and John Calvin Brotheron predeceased her.
Lois was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Arthur and Hildur (Anderson) Brotherton and graduated from South High School and was employed by New England Telephone for a short time, leaving to raise her family. In later years, she worked as a waitress at Friendly's Restaurant, retiring after 20 years of service.
Lois enjoyed ballroom dancing, crossword puzzles, shopping, spending time with her family, and dearest friends.
The Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 18, at 10 AM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
