Lori A. (Kroll) Bourn, 44, of West Boylston died Sunday, January 16 at UMASS Medical Center after a courageous battle against cancer.

She leaves her husband of 19 years, Peter L. Bourn, and her two children, Lexi and Nash, both of West Boylston. She was pre-deceased by her mother Thelma A. Kroll, and also leaves her father, Francis "Frank" J. Kroll of Northbrough; a brother, Mark F. Kroll of North Grafton; a sister-in-law, Betsy Waller, her husband Jack and a nephew, Drew, all of New Britain, CT and graduated from Algonquin High School and Central New England College.

Everyone who knew Lori loved her. Her infectious laugh, enthusiasm for life, and caring attitude will be missed by all. Above all, Lori loved her husband, Peter and her children, Lexi and Nash, and supported them whole-heartedly in all of their endeavors. She adored her father Frank, mother Thelma and brother Mark. She was an award winning florist, and her unique style, and creativity was admired and enjoyed by all. Lori was a member of the Beaman Oak Garden Club and the Tower Hill Botanic Garden. Her passionate approach to life included a love of athletics, both as a spectator and as a participant. She was an avid golfer, and enjoyed her participation with close friends in the Wednesday Night Bowling Group and the West Boylston Women's Softball League. Her family and friends will cherish the special times she enjoyed with them at Scarborough Beach in Rhode Island and Wells Beach in Maine. She will be remembered and loved forever.

The funeral will be held Thursday, January 20, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St. with a Mass at 11 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. There will be a private burial in Mt. Vernon Cemetery at a later date. Visiting Hours are Wednesday, January 19, from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Beaman Oak Garden Club, P.O.
