Louis J. Dellasanta, 97, a lifelong resident of West Boylston and son of Ercole and Irene (Brualdi) Dellasanta, passed away in his home on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. His wife of 56 years, Janet (Wieslander) Dellasanta, predeceased him in 2012. He was also predeceased by his three brothers, Harry, Thomas and Bruno Dellasanta; one sister, Esther Burgess; and his brother-in-law, John Wieslander and wife Joan. He leaves behind his sister, Ann Desroches of West Boylston; his son, John and wife Jean Dellasanta of Worcester; his son, Steven and wife Karen Dellasanta of Little Compton, RI; his daughter, Debra Dellasanta of West Boylston; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Brittany, Chelsea, Anders, Joseph and wife Shelly, Nicholas and Peter Dellasanta; a great granddaughter, Camille Dellasanta; and nieces and nephews. 

Louis attended Woodland Street and Goodale Street Schools in town, as well as Worcester Boys Trade, and graduated from Commerce Evening High School. An outdoors man all his life, he retired from Local 243. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in Greenland and France as a Corporal. He was a member of St. Christopher Church in Worcester. He was a member and past Commander of the Harold N. Keith Post #204 American Legion and attended many rituals for his fallen comrades and their families. He was a past member of the Eight Point Sportsman’s Club and a life member of the Greendale Retired Men’s Club. He loved family gatherings, especially with his grandchildren, cooking, gardening, yardwork, golfing and the Red Sox. He will be greatly missed by his family, until that day when we see him again.

Calling hours will be from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Fay Brothers Life Celebration Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston with a Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in West Boylston at 11:00 a.m., followed by a military burial in Mount Vernon Cemetery in West Boylston.
