UXBRIDGE-Louise N. (Baker) Larson, 79, of Uxbridge, formerly of Sutton and Ocala, FL, died peacefully, Thursday, October 1st at home after a long struggle with cancer. She leaves her husband of over 25 years, Albert B. Larson; a daughter, Cynthia L. Larson-Renaud; a brother, Donald Baker of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren, Justin A. and Nicole E. Renaud; nephews and nieces, including her nephew Donald Baker, Jr. of Worcester. She was predeceased by her first husband, Phillip G. Larson in 1982 and a brother Raymond Baker.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Louis and Donalda (Robidoux) Baker and graduated from Commerce High School. Prior to staying home to raise her daughter, Louise worked at State Mutual Life Insurance Company for several years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Sutton and while living in Ocala, FL, the Presbyterian Church at Marion Oaks. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and often expressed that in the greeting cards in which she created. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends but will be long remembered as an exceptionally strong and courageous woman with a beautiful smile.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 6 at the First Congregational Church, Boston Road, Sutton. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
