Louise Toromanian

WORCESTER- Louise (Ovian) Toromanian, 92, of Worcester, died Wednesday, January 7, at home after an illness. She leaves her husband of 61 years, John Toromanian; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Kirkor, Larry and Berge Ovian and two sisters, Lucy Jaffarian and Marjorie Mesrobian. She was born in Whitinsville, daughter of Solomon and Nechtar (Jamgochian) Ovian. She attended Northbridge High School. Mrs. Toromanian was a member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, where she was honored for fifty years membership in the Ladies Guild. She was a member of the AVAKS and worked as a volunteer for the church bingo and was also active in other church activities.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12 at 11AM in the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 12 from 10 - 11AM in the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
