Lucy C. Murgo

Lucy C. (Caira) Murgo, 75, of West Boylston died Monday, January 17 in UMASS Memorial Hospital.

She leaves her husband of 56 years, Leonard P. Murgo; six children, Annmarie Lucas and her husband Mark of Plainfield, VT, John P. Murgo and his wife Gail of Holliston, Robert M. Murgo and his wife Nancy of Waltham, Dan L. Murgo and his wife Cathy of Waterville, ME, Joseph E. Murgo and his wife Susan of Holden and Virginia C. Rossi and her husband Nick of Casa Grande, AZ; eight brothers and sisters; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was born in Watertown, daughter of Emilio and Jennie (Tomolillo) Caira and graduated from Watertown High School.

Lucy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed doing volunteer work and took great pride in helping others in need. She loved making quilts, doing arts and crafts and spending time with her family.

The Funeral will be held Thursday, January 20 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. WORCESTER with a Mass at 12:30 PM in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will be private.Visiting Hours are Wednesday, January 19 from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
