Luz Lucy Amaro

WORCESTER-Luz "Lucy" Maria Amaro, 45, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, October 13. Her husband of three years, Jose Amaro predeceased her in 1987. She leaves two daughters, Jenise B. Amaro and Giselle M. Lopez; a son, Jose M. Amaro; her mother, Margarita (Pena) Fontanez and granddaughter, Gianna M. Amaro, all of Worcester. She also leaves two brothers, Miguel and David Fontanez and two sisters, Victoria Johnson and Debra Medina, all of Worcester; many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Rosa Corchado and her father Miguel Fontanez. Lucy was born in Bronx, NY; she was a loving mother, daughter and sister and will be missed by her family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worc., on Sunday, October 18 from 1-4 PM for visiting hours.
