WORCESTER-Lynn passed away suddenly on the morning of Monday June 2, 2025. Lynn was such a sweetheart and is so special to so many people. She will be missed tremendously. She leaves behind her husband of 18 years Sean Quinlivan and their two beautiful children Patrick and Abigail Quinlivan, all of Worcester, her Mom and Dad, Deborah and Michael Mathews of Worcester, her brother John Mathews and his fiance Lynn Brindamour and her children. These two are happily expecting a baby boy in July. Lynn also leaves behind her beloved sister Aimee Mathews of Worcester. Lynn and Aimee had a very special bond that was so important to Lynn. She also leaves her mother and father in-law Margaret and Robert Quinlivan of Worcester, her brother and sister in law Jim and Erica Quinlivan of Auburn and their two children and another brother in law Ryan Quinlivan and his two children. Lynn also had many cousins, second cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, great aunts and uncles; all people that she cared for so much and brought her great happiness.
Lynn cared so much about all of her dear friends and family. She was a family girl at heart. Her friends and family meant everything to her. She was always eager to help whenever you needed a hand and was always just a call or text away; such an amazing, beautiful person inside and out and it is so very important that people always remember her true beauty. She always tried her best to be a great friend and mother and was steadfast in her faith and beliefs. Lynn always shared rays of positivity to everyone in her life. She kept a fortune inside her phone cover that read “Embrace the magic of positivity: It will bring your dreams to life” This is a quote that embodies who Lynn is and what she was about. She was so strong, so loving, so caring, and her strength and love will live on through everyone she touched.
Lynn was the ultimate go-getter and an extremely hard worker. Her work ethic carried her family and she was their rock. Lynn worked as a nurse at UMASS for over 20 years. Her passion to serve and care for others was second to none. She took pride in being a nurse and it showed through all of the lives she positively impacted throughout her career. Lynn was eager to learn and was a tremendous leader to all of her peers. She loved her co-workers and often spent time with them whenever she could. They even got her to play golf. They meant so much to her and brought her so much happiness and joy whenever they hung out. She shared an extra special bond with all her girls from 7 ICU and her good friend Boom Boom. Lynn was also a professional photographer. If Lynn had her camera there was no stopping her from snapping a few pictures. She just loved it. She absolutely loved being behind the lens capturing beautiful memories with natural light surrounded by nature. She was super talented and always shared her passion for making memories. She especially enjoyed photographing for her friends and family and was always up for a quick spontaneous shoot whenever the opportunity arose. She took a lot of pride in her work and if you ever looked at her pictures her talent speaks for itself. She captured so many wonderful memories for so many people; memories that will last a lifetime. I know that brought her so much happiness.
Lynn was such a sweet sweet girl that enjoyed many hobbies. Lynn was an avid camper and enjoyed camping at Salisbury beach and the Cape. She found happiness sitting by the fire catching up with friends and making smores with all of her nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts uncles whenever they came to visit. Lynn also loved the beach, loved to hike and loved going on trips. She was an incredible planner and always made sure that she has every last detail covered and made things as enjoyable as possible. But the most important thing to her was making memories with friends and family that will last a lifetime. Lynn, we all love you so much.
It is very difficult to put into words how much Lynn meant to everyone, but we all know that she will live on in spirit through us all.
Lynn was a loving mother to two wonderful children; Patrick and Abby. They were her world. She worked so very hard to raise them to always do the right thing no matter what. These are words that they will always live by because of her. Her children always came first and she filled their lives with love and joy. They will never forget what a caring, loving and nurturing mother she was and will continue to live through them. She always wanted only the best for them and worked tirelessly to do whatever it took to keep them safe and healthy. She is their Momma Bear forever and ever. Patrick and Abigail, your mother loved you both so much.
Always remember that.
Lynn also deeply cared for her grandparents. They too meant the world to her. She learned so much from her grandparents and they lived on through her. She possessed so many qualities that she inherited from Mac, Dee, Joan, and Mike. She loved visiting with Mac and Nan down at the Cape and would often go to visit with Joan and Mike over on Esther St to catch up or play some cards. Hopefully, they are all together again in Peace.
Lynn also had a very close relationship with her Mom, Deb, her dad, Mike, her sister, Aimee and her brother, John. The bond that they all shared was very special to Lynn. She cared so deeply about them and was the rock for the family in good times and bad. She loved them all so much and would always make an effort to let them know how much she loved them. She was always mindful of their well being and was a source of positivity and happiness for them all. She enjoyed hanging out whenever she could and would always make them a priority no matter what.
Until we meet again: Off in a place far away
Where a warm breeze blows and green grass sways
A fallen seed begins to grow
Its roots sink deep and green leaves show
The beautiful plant is like no other
Its flowers bursting with wonderful colors
But times grow tough and the earth grows dry
Waiting for a tear from up in the sky
But nevertheless it knows in time
The rain will come and the sun will shine
It never gives up and keeps on growing
While the green grass sways and the wind keeps blowing
Lynn, you are our sun, you are our rain. We know that you feel the same. Know that we will all love you forever and we cherish the time we spent together.
Lynn, we all love you so much and hope that you rest in peace.
Love,
Patrick, Abby, Sean, family and friends.
