West Chatham/West Boylston-Madge (Chapel) Trombi, 83, of Sam Ryder Rd., formerly of West Boylston died Sat., Dec 17 at Liberty Commons Nursing Home, N. Chatham. She leaves her husband, Mario Trombi; her daughter, Mia Mattress of Worcester; a daughter-in-law Lori Cook of Georgia; her brother, Henry Noyes of Marlboro; three granddaughters, two grandsons; six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Two sons, Robert Cook and Albert Genise and a sister all predeceased her.

She was born in Hartford, CT the daughter of Walter J. and Magnolia (Noyes) Chapel and graduated from the Worcester School System. Madge worked as a hostess and bartender for many years at the Green Meadow Lodge in Sterling until its closing. She also worked at Leavetts Distributors in Worcester. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of West Boylston and liked to go over to the VFW in West Chatham where she loved everybody.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 9:00 a.m. at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, West Boylston. A visiting period will be from 8:00 until 9:00 a.m. before the service.
