Magdalena Quiles

WORCESTER- Magdalena Quiles, 69, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Corozal, Puerto Rico on April 5, 1953 a daughter of Maria Morales and Flor Quiles. For many years, Magdalena was employed as a machine operator for Kileen Machine Company for 35 years until her retirement.

Mrs. Quiles was a longtime parishioner at St. Peter’s Church on Main Street. Her pride and joy were her children and family. She truly had a “green thumb” and loved being in her yard tending to her flower gardens. She enjoyed traveling to Puerto Rico, El Salvador and throughout New England with her husband, Luis, spending time with family, and on the phone catching up with her sisters.

Magdalena leaves behind her loving husband, Luis Maravilla; her children, Jose A. Albino and Magdalis “Maggie” Gomez; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; her siblings and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Family and friends will celebrate her life with visiting hours on Thursday, July 7^th from 4:00 until 7:00pm at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, July 8^th in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
