WORCESTER-Mami De, 67, died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at home after an illness. Mami was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Kumasi, Ghana, daughter of Ama Abrafi and Yaw Kwarteng. Mami worked as a business woman and also in healthcare.
She is survived by five children; Afia Nti Siriboe of Atlanta, GA, Yaw Twumasi of Ghana, Mame Anaa Nti, Akua Nti and Derek Mensah all of Worcester and five grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Kofi Twumasi in NY, three sisters, Christina Aboagyewaa, Charity Kwarteng, both of Worcester and Felicia Nkansah of Ghana, and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visiting Hours are Friday, March 25th from 5 until 8 PM at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street.
The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 26th from 8:30 until 10:30 AM at St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln Street. Please gather directly at church.
Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
