WORCESTER- Manooshak (Azizian) Melikian Krabit, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the Life Care Center of Auburn.
She was born in Baghdad, Iraq on July 1, 1939 daughter to Krikor and Sanam Azizian. She was raised in Iraq and emigrated to the United States in 1980 with her family. Mrs. Krabit was a devoted and longtime member of Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and crocheting. An accomplished seamstress, Manooshak loved to make beautiful dresses and clothing for family and friends. She was a warm, kind, and peaceful woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Krabit was employed for several years as a stitcher with David Clark Company.
She leaves behind Her children, Lucy Khoumjian and her husband, Kevork of Waltham, Daniel Melikian and his wife, Marya of Worcester, Nazig Donabedian and her husband, Zohrab of Westford, Sosie Donabedian and her husband, Hovig of Westborough, Garo Melikian and his wife, Armine of Glendale, CA., and Sarkis Melikian of Worcester; eight grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Krabit was predeceased by her husband, Jirair Krabit, and her five siblings.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life with visiting hours on Monday, April 18th from 9:00am until 10:30am at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am at Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, 635 Grove St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
