WORCESTER-Margaret M. "Peggy" (Grady) Bartlett, 80, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at St. Mary Healthcare. She was predeceased by her husband Armand "Bart" Bartlett in 2008 and her brother, William Grady.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Austin and Nora Grady. She graduated from St. Peter's High School in 1954, received her AB degree from Elms College in Chicopee, and her Master's degree and CAGS certification from Worcester State University. Peggy started her teaching career at St. Peter's High School, Worcester and later at Shepherd Hill Regional High School, Dudley as the Business Department Head. She married Bart" Bartlett and moved to Enfield, CT and became the Housing Coordinator for the town of Enfield and the manager of the Mark Twain Congregate Housing facility. In 1990, she and Bart moved to Vero Beach, FL. She held several jobs and after 11 years retired from the admissions department of the McKee Botanical Garden.

Peggy leaves two brothers, John Grady and his wife Mary of Osterville, MA and Robert Grady and his wife Jean of Baytown, TX and three sisters, Anne Shea and her husband Dennis of Worcester, Ellen Grady and Ed Jarmolowicz of Webster and Mary Stewart and her husband Gordan of Wakefield, RI. She also leaves two step daughters, Lynne Crawford and Jackie Kutsin, both of Florida and many nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 19th at Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant Street. Interment of ashes will follow at St. John's Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peggy's memory may be made to the St. Mary Healthcare Center-Activities Department, 39 Queen St., Worcester, MA 01610.
