Margaret N Doxsee

 Margaret N. "Peg" (Nagle) Doxsee, 94, died Friday, November 25, 2022 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

  Her husband Marshall Doxsee died on September 21, 2007.  She leaves several nieces and nephews; Maureen Sideris and her husband David of Watertown, Janet Vilandre of Hopkinton, Rhode Island, Barbara Kumlin and her husband Bob of Wareham, Christopher Nagle and his wife Mary of Abington and Joanne Thomka and her husband Wayde of Alexandria, VA; step children, Martin and his wife Dale Doxsee of Anchorage, AK and Marshall J. Doxsee of Oregon; step-son-in law, Greg Whitman of Saxtons River, VT; step-grandchildren, Samantha Whitman of Tucson, AZ and Whitney D. Doxsee of Anchorage, AK,  Trevor Doxsee of Anchorage, AK and Ryder Doxsee of Kenai, AK. and many great nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother Francis J. Nagle,  twin sister Elizabeth I. Bergstrom, two nephews; John and Robert Bickford, step-children; Adrian Doxsee and  Karen Whitman.

   Margaret was born in Worcester, daughter of Francis A. and Irene (McCann) Nagle.  She graduated from South High School.  She was a medical secretary for many years before retiring.  She was a longtime member of the Medical Secretaries Association.  She enjoyed knitting, boating and traveling with her husband.  She and Marshall were married in Wannalancet, Vermont and they lived there for several years before moving to Alaska for over 25 years.  She loved living in Alaska and worked at the Providence Alaska Medical Center for over 25 years.  She had many cherished childhood memories of Old Silver Beach in Falmouth and Cape Cod.

 

  Friends and Family are requested to gather at 9:00 AM on Thursday December 8 at Callahan, Fay  & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester before processing to the Cathedral of Saint Paul, 15 Chatham St., Worcester for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.st.jude.org
