WORCESTER
Margaret G. (Cokely) Harris 91, formerly of Charlestown died Friday, March 4 in the Sterling Village.
She leaves two daughters, Barbara F. Rooney and her husband John of Worcester and Karen L. Thibault of Londonderry, NH; two brothers, Edmund H. Cokely of Portsmouth, NH and Kenneth P. Cokely of Brockton; a sister, Mildred T. Faherty of Naples, FL; six grandchildren, Kimberly and Kerry Donovan, Christina Rooney, John Rooney, James Rooney, and Ellen Oster; six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Three brothers, James, Robert and George predeceased her. She was born in Boston, daughter of Arthur and Veronica (Holden) Cokely.
Margaret lived in Charlestown for many years, moving to Worcester 30 years ago.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 12, at 11 AM in St. John's Church, 40 Temple St. Burial will be private in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope in Bloom, 202 Bussey St., Dedham, 02026, www.hopeinbloom.org.
