Margaret "Margie" Kazarian, 86, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2018 at Holden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a lengthy illness.
Margaret was born in Providence, Rhode Island on May 22, 1932 a daughter of the late Nishan and Elmas (Bohigian) Jamgochian. She was raised in Providence and graduated from Central High School Class of 1950.
For many years she worked in the Payroll Department at Big D Supermarkets. She was a devoted member of the Armenian Church of Saviour and also enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and trips with friends to area casinos.
She leaves her husband of 64 years, Sam Kazarian; a daughter, Michelle Chestna and her husband Mark of West Boylston; Her grandchildren, Ariana Chestna of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Alexandra Chestna of West Boylston and Blake Chestna of Colebrook, NH; A great granddaughter, Noa Alexandra Chestna of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather to honor, remember and celebrate Mrs. Kazarian's life on Friday, August 17th from 10:00am until 10:45am at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609
