Margaret B. "Peggy" LaRose

RUTLAND: Margaret B. “Peggy” (Pinard) LaRose, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2026. Her husband of 47 years, Gerald F. “Jerry” LaRose, passed away in 2014.

She is survived by three sons, Daniel P. LaRose, Scott F. LaRose, and Keith D. LaRose; six grandchildren, Evelyn, Erik, Alec, Grace, Samuel and Mark; former daughters-in-law, Deborah LaRose and Kate Lucius; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six siblings, Raymond Pinard, Albert Pinard, Irene O’Brien, Alma Woods, Blanche Bacon, and Loretta Millette, and her beloved grandson, Kurt LaRose.

Peggy was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Wilfred & Margaret (McLoughlin) Pinard. She worked as a medical coordinator for Family Health Center before enjoying retirement. Peg enjoyed gardening, reading, Friday nights at Christo’s and Barbers Crossing, pitch, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was being a Mémère.

Calling Hours will be held 5 until 7PM on Thursday, July 23, in the Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A Graveside Service will be held at 10AM on Friday, July 24, in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Online condolences may be paced at www.callahanfay.com
