Margaret M. Rieger

WORCESTER
Margaret M. Rieger, 95, of Worcester died Tuesday, July 7 at home.
She leaves many friends, among them her caregivers, Teresa Collette and Patricia Swett and her cat, Babe. Her step-sisters, Peggy Ryan and Lillian Johnson predeceased her. She was born in Germany, daughter of John and Edwina (Greenberger) Rieger and graduated from Worcester State College.
Margaret was a school teacher for many years and retired as Principal for the Town of Spencer School department. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. A special thanks to the UMASS Memorial Hospice staff for all their loving care.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 15, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be in Saint John's Cemetery, Middle Village Long Island, NY. A visiting period will be held Wednesday, July 15, from 8 -8:30 AM at the funeral home.
