Margarette Zenon, 64, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 13, 2021.
She was born June 13, 1956 a daughter to the late Andrea Bordeau and Charitable Zenon in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.
While in Haiti, Margarette grew up with so many siblings. She was blessed with a large and loving family. Moreover, she was immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support from an early age. She joined many church groups and was a choir member of Combatant pour Christ. Moreover, she became a cosmetologist and worked in a hair salon before her major motor vehicle accident. After leaving Haiti, Margarette worked for the T. J. Maxx Warehouse for 20 years. She made many friends and developed amiable relationships at work. Furthermore, she was a devoted member of Evangelical First Haitian Baptist Church of Worcester. She also joined numerous groups while living in the States: Groupe Prière de Worcester, Groupe des Dames, Choral de Worcester and Groupe Prière de Brookline.
Margarette leaves many behind that will miss her dearly including daughter, Widlene Zenon, God daughter Wendy G. Bonneannee, many brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Brothers: Jean Yves, Joseph, Harry, Jean-Marcel, Herby, Jean-William, Marc, Clement Laguerre, Fritz Dorelus, Felix Mercier and Jean-Lemerre Zenon. Sisters: Immacula Dartiguenave, Magalie, Guirlene, Josette, Chariette, Marlyne, Kettly, Lydie, Liguerdy, Yanick, Nelly, Syndia Zenon, Marjorie Derival and Edna Bordeaux.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Margarette Zenon on Friday, March 26,2021 with visiting hours from 9:00 am until 1030am at the Callahan, Fay and Caswell Life Celebration Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street Worcester, MA. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 am with a burial at Notre Dame Cemetery & Mausoleum, 162 Webster Street, Worcester, immediately following.
