Marguerite F. (Foisy) Fancy, 81, of 23 Western Ave. and 2 Wood Ave. Sandwich, died Saturday (Feb2) in UMASS Memorial Med. Center- Belmont St. Campus.

Her husband Richard Fancy died in 1998. She leaves a sister Winifred M. Walker of Holden, three nieces Charlene M. Argurkis of West Boylston, Charlotte A. Santimaw of Holden, and Elizabeth L. DiStefano of Worcester. Two Brothers Edmond Foisy of Worcester and Arthur Foisy of Charlton and Three Sisters, Beatrice Steffen of Worcester, Cecilia Oberg of Holden, and Exilda Koleshis of Auburn all pre-deceased her. She was born in Worcester daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Giguere) Foisy. She graduated from South High School and St. Joseph School of Nursing. She served in the U.S. Army Cadet Corp. during WWII. Stationed at Fort Devens and Camp Edwards.

She was a registered nurse for the West Boylston School Department previously she worked for U.S. Steel and Wyman Gordon Company.

Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the spring in Mt. Vernon Cemetery There are no calling hours.. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to West Boylston Fire and Ambulance Fund 39 Worcester St. West Boylston 01583 Fay Brothers Funeral Home l West Boylston St. is directing arrangements.
