Marguerite A. "Jack"(Gannon) Taylor, 86, of 2 Sycamore Rd. died Sunday (May 26) at UMASS Memorial Medical Center-Belmont St. Campus, Worcester after an illness.
Her husband John E. Taylor died in 1975. She leaves three daughters, Elizabeth E. Desilets of Northboro, Jean M. Taylor of Shrewsbury, and Teresa A. Taylor of Spencer, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. A brother John Gannon and two sisters Theresa McCauley and Alice Gannon all of Worcester predeceased her. She was born in Worcester daughter of John and Alice (Shannon) Gannon. She graduated from Commerce High School.
She was a manager at SS Kresgee's for several years retiring years ago prior to that she worked at Whitney Valentine Company.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and the Good Luck Cross Society
A Funeral will be held Thursday (May 30) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 9 Hammond St. Worcester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 600 Cambridge St. Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling Hours are Wednesday (May 29) from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Gathering Tree 51 Harvard St. Worcester 01609
