Maria C. Jimenez De Pena

WORCESTER: Maria C. Jimenez De Pena, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 12, 2026. Her husband, Francisco Pena, passed away in 1996.

She is survived by her 4 children, Dulce Elena Pena Jimenez and her husband, Juan De Jesus Moquet, Ruth Brito and her husband, Patricio, Francisco Pena Jimenez and his wife, Bacilia, and Rosendo Pena Jimenez and his wife, Leonidas Batista; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Maria was born in Bonao, Dominican Republic, daughter of the late Rosendo Jimenez & Felipina Tapia Jimenez. She immigrated to the United States in 2008. She enjoyed sewing and knitting, and most of all spending time with her family.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in St. Paul's Cathedral, 15 Chatham St., Worcester. A Visiting Hour will be held from 10 until 11AM in the Cathedral, prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Online condolences may be placed at www.callahanfay.com
