Marcia D. Martin

April 4, 1949 — May 18, 2025

West Boylston

Marcia D. (Nadow) Jackson Martin, 76, a beloved figure known for her strength, love, and caring nature, passed away peacefully in her home on May 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 4, 1949, in Holden, MA, Marcia dedicated her life to nurturing the bonds of family and community.

After graduating from West Boylston High School in 1967, Marcia pursued her interests in the arts with several classes at the Worcester Art Museum. She spent several years contributing her talents at Fallon Health Plan, where she was respected by many.

In Marcia's free time she enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. Ogunquit, Maine, held a special place in her heart as her favorite destination, and she had a particular fondness for indulging in lobster rolls during her visits. Above all, she loved any chance she had to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marcia's personality shone brightly throughout her life, characterized by her strong, beautiful, and caring demeanor. Her pride and joy came from her family—her greatest accomplishment.

She is survived by her husband, William F. Martin, with whom she shared over 42 wonderful years of marriage, as well as their four daughters, Lori M. Altongy and her husband Brian of Bolton MA, Stephanie L. Torrey and her husband Keith of Woodstock CT, Lisa A Martin of Worcester, Michelle S. Woodward and her husband Thomas of Worcester MA; her grandchildren Samantha, Steven, Joshua, Nicole and Joseph and her great-grandchildren Ayvien and Isaiah. All of whom will miss her deeply.

She is predeceased by her parents Arline M. (Lewis) and Stillman E. Nadow; her first husband, Steven P. Jackson, who passed in 1978, and her sister, Joyce (Nadow) Benoit.
