Maria Rodriguez

WORCESTER: Maria (Melendez) Rodriguez, 91, died on Friday, July 19 in UMass Memorial Hospital.

 She leaves her husband of 72 years, Juan A. Rodriguez, three sons: William Rodriguez and his wife Martha of Worcester, Jose Rodriguez of Worcester and Luis Rodriguez and his wife Monica of Worcester, two daughters Iris Rodriguez and her husband Jorge Nieves of Webster and Aida Rodriguez of Worcester and many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

 Maria was born in Bario Rabanal Cidra, Puerto Rico. She was the daughter of Manuel Melendez and Rosa Figueroa. She was a member of the Iglesia Comunidad De Fe Church. She loved to cook and spend time with her beloved family. She enjoyed playing bingo and always keep a clean and tidy home.

 Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 25th from 4:00-7:00 PM in Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. A funeral service will be held on Friday July 26th at 11:00 AM in Iglesia Comunidad De Fe Church, 14 Clement Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
