Marie A. Suchocki

WORCESTER - Marie A. (Fappiano) Suchocki, 95 passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Life Care Center of Auburn. She was born and raised in Waterbury, CT, a daughter of the late Cristofaro and Emanuela (Ruggierio) Fappiano.
Marie attended local schools in Waterbury and as a young woman growing up in the difficult years following the depression and during the war, she entered the workforce to help support the family. She then met her future husband, the late John T. Suchocki and they were married. Together, they shared 59 years of marriage before his death in 2004.
Marie was devoted to her family, and took pride in providing a wonderful home atmosphere and cooking and baking for everyone. She loved family gatherings and sharing time with her loved ones.
Marie leaves her two sons, John T. Suchocki, Jr. and his wife Mercedes of West Hartford, CT and James Suchocki and his wife, Susan of Freemont;, NH; her sister, Michelina Cirrillo of Waterbury, CT; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Marie was predeceased by her son, Richard F. Suchocki and her brothers, Gene, Frank, Nicholas and Rosario and Silvio Fappiano.
Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Marie during her Life Celebration visitation on Wednesday, October 3rd from 11-12 Noon at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. A prayer service will then follow at 12 Noon. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
