WORCESTER-Marilyn D. (Woodruff) Green, 88, of Worcester, formerly of Marlborough passed away Monday, November 29 at UMASS Medical Center.
Her husband, Robert H. St. Hilaire died in 2007. She leaves three children, Glen R. St. Hilaire of Spencer, Lori J. McFaden and her husband, Edward of Worcester and Lynn M. St. Hilaire and her husband, Scott of Worcester; six grandchildren, Lisa, Lewis, Jason, Brian, Michael and Matthew and nieces and nephews. Three children, Bobby, Paul and Mary St. Hilaire predeceased her. She was born in Burlington, VT daughter of May (Kirby) Woodruff.
Marilyn worked for 20 years for Fab-coil in Northborough and 18 years for Magnetika in Marlborough. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Marlborough. Marilyn loved to crochet and made an afghan blanket for everyone in the family. She also loved to work on any type of puzzle book. She had a heart of gold, selfless love and was a mother to all she knew and loved.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 6 at 11am in Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Assoc. for the advocacy of COPD at www.lung.org. Arrangements in the care of Fay Brothers Life Celebration Home, West Boylston.
