Marion I. (McFadyen) Giguere, 91, of the Saint Francis Home formerly of 415 Mill St. died Tuesday(Jan29) at UMASS Memorial Medical Center-Belmont St. Campus.
He her husband Roland A. Giguere died in 1983. She leaves two sons, Richard F. Giguere of Worcester and Robert E. Giguere with whom she lived, two daughters, Barbara L. Hogan and Marilyn Morgan both of Worcester, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, A grandchild pre-deceased her. She was born in Shrewsbury daughter, of Samuel and Nora (O'Connell) McFadyen. She graduated from Commerce High School and Becker Junior College.
She worked at Robert's Hairstyling owned by her son retiring several years ago. Prior to that she worked for the March of Dimes, The American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society and at one time she was employed at the O and J Machine Co. and Brockleman Bros. Worcester Market as a bookkeeper.
She was the Past President of the Oxford St. School PTA in Worcester.
A Funeral will be held Friday (Feb1) from Fay Brothers Funeral Homes 9 Hammond St. with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church 341 June St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
