WEST BOYLSTON
Mark P. Whitney, 62, of West Boylston died Thursday, November 12, in UMASS Memorial Hospital.
He leaves his life partner, Amy Perelli with whom he lived; his mother, Clare (Proctor) Whitney of West Boylston; a brother, David Whitney of West Boylston; two sons, Scott Whitney of Auburn and Robert Whitney of Westborough and five grandchildren. He was born in Worcester, son of the late, Francis E. Whitney and lived many years in Holden and West Boylston. He graduated from West Boylston High School.
Mark formerly owned and operated Acorn Tree and Landscaping Company. He also was a former member of the West Boylston and Holden Fire Departments. He was a member of Saint Michael on the Heights Church, Worcester.
The Funeral Service will be private. Burial will private and at the convenience of the family in Mount Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the West Boylston Fire Dept. and Ambulance Fund, 39 Worcester St., West Boylston, 01583.
