Martin J. Duggan, 87, died in Boston, after a brief illness.
He is survived by his son Dennis Duggan and grandson, Ian Duggan both of Auburn, ME, a granddaughter Deirdre Budzyna of Newburyport, MA and three great-gradnchildren, a sister, Catherine Feen and a brother John Duggan both of Worcester, A sister, Margaret Cather, predeceased him.
Mr. Duggan grew up in Worcester and attended both St. John's grammar and high school before entering the army in 1942. He served in Germany during WWII and following the war he became a first-class engineer holding several supervisory postions in the greater Boston area. Mr. Duggan enjoyed music, dancing, travelling and golf.
The funeral will be Tuesday, October 28th from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston with a mass at 11:00 AM in St. John's Church, 40 Temple Street, Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be held Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
