Mary T. (Dalton) Carrigan, aged 91, formerly of Pakachoag Village in Auburn, passed away on Friday, January 3, surrounded by her loving family.

 Mary was predeceased by her devoted husband of 48 years, Robert P. Carrigan, who passed away in 2003. She leaves behind a cherished legacy of family, including her three daughters: Linda Fanning and her husband Stephen of West Boylston, with whom she resided; Colleen Carrigan of Holden; and Paula Kelleher and her husband Walter of Oxford. Additionally, Mary is survived by five grandchildren—Erin, Stephen, Peter, Jason, and Nathan—and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Charles and James Dalton.

 Born in Worcester to Charles and Mary (Aylward) Dalton, Mary attended Girls Trade in Worcester. She dedicated many years of her life to serving as a clerk at Dee's Cards & Gifts, where she gained many cherished friendships. Mary found joy in gardening, solving word puzzles, playing the card game pitch, and above all, spending quality time with her family. She was a member of North American Martyrs Church in Auburn, where she shared her faith.

 A funeral Mass in her honor will be held on Wednesday, January 8th, at 11:00 AM at North American Martyrs Church, located at 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest in St. John's Cemetery in Worcester. Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston is directing funeral arrangements.
