Mary E. Challoner

West Boylston

Mary E. (Ricci) Challoner 89, formerly of 15 Fort Niagara Dr. died Saturday (Oct.7) in Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, after an illness.

Her husband of many years, Thomas Challoner died in 2001. She leaves two brothers, John P. Richie of West Boylston and Richard C. Richie of Northboro and two sisters, Helen Carter of Worcester and Edith A. Lawrence of West Boylston and several nephews and nieces. She was born in West Boylston daughter of Peter and Abertina (Getty) Ricci. She graduated from West Boylston High School and Becker College.

She was a furrier and bookkeeper at Learner's Furriers in Worcester for several years retiring many years ago.

A Funeral will held Tuesday (Dec.10) at 11 a.m. in Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 West Boylston St. (www.faybrothers.com). Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
