Mary C. (Rousseau) Coleman 89, formerly of Idalla Rd. died Tuesday (April 8) at the Westborough Healthcare Center, Westborough, after an illness.

Her huasband of 66 years, Howard W. Coleman died in 2000. She leaves four sons, Howard W. Coleman Jr. of Paxton, Malcom V. Coleman of Worcester, Gene K. Coleman of Apache Junction, AZ and Kenneth L. Coleman of Woodstock, CT, and a daughter Carole J. Boilard of Worcester, 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Three brothers, Joseph Rousseau of West Boylston, George Rousseau of Florida and Richard Rousseau of Worcester and two sisters Virginia Rousseau and Rita Rousseau all predeceased her.She was born in Worcester, daughter of Alexander L. and Mary C. (Desrochers) Rousseau.

She was a seamstress for MKM Mills in Rochdale, a custom dressmaker and worked at the Gold Star Restaurant retiring many years ago.

She was a founding member of Saint Christopher's Church and a member of the Indian Lake Yacht Club. She was an accomplished needle worker, rug hooker, and cake decorator. She also enjoyed sailing, traveling and flying airplanes with her husband.

A Funeral will be held Saturday (April 12) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 West Boylston St. W. Boylston (www.faybrothers.com) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Christopher's Church 950 West Boylston St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Friday (April 11) from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
