West Boylston/Shrewsbury-Mary (Kavookjian) Danielian, 93, passed away on July 25, 2016 at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

She was born in Worcester on August 11, 1922, daughter of the late Harry Sarkis and Sina (Dinjian) Kavookjian. Mary graduated in 1940 from Somerville High School and attended Framingham State College.

She married the late Dr. George Danielian in 1942. They had three children, Jeannette (Jay) Danielian of Chicago; Lee Danielian and his wife Karyn of Southboro and Florida; Wendy Danielian, her best friend and caregiver. She also leaves her beloved granddaughter, Mary Kristen Page and her husband Adam of Illinois; two great grandchildren, Jonathan Adam Page and Jackson Alexander Page. She is survived by her brother, Retired Col. Sarkis Kavookjian of Alabama; nephew, Retired Lt. Col. Steve Kavookjian and his wife Beverly; niece, Dr. Jan Kavookjian of Alabama. She also leaves several great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A dedicated and devoted mother, who exemplified the essence of goodness, generosity and kindness. She was very active in church; being the first recording secretary and chairwoman of the Woman's Guild at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour; President of the Woman's Club of West Boylston; member of the Hahnemann Hospital Auxiliary; a 54 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, July 28 from 4:00 until 7:00pm with a Dahngark Service beginning at 6:30pm at CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29 at 11:00am at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery, West Boylston. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609
