Mary E. (Moran) DiPierro 81, formerly of West Boylston, died peacefully Tuesday, Oct.12 at the Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis.

Her beloved husband, Domenic DiPierro and son, Domenic Robert DiPierro, predeceased her. She leaves her daughter-in-law, Joan DiPierro Dubeau and her husband, Christopher Dubeau of West Boylston; step-son and daughter-in-law, Patrick DiPierro and Anne Marie Rafferty DiPierro of Shrewsbury; step-daughter, Pauline Charbonneau of Worcester;brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Ann DiPierro of Dennisport, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Katherine Rossetti of Shrewsbury; many step-grandchildren; step great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Mary was born in Worcester, daughter of Frederick and Edith (Ballard) Moran, and lived in West Boylston for many years before moving to Dennis Port. She attended Commerce High School. Mary worked for several years in the office of the Wyman and Gordon Company before having her family. She was a lovely, funny lady who enjoyed feeding her "night creatures" which included Sam the Seagull, a skunk, opossum and many cats. She loved going shopping with her daughter-in-laws and enjoyed watching boats in the ocean. She was a great cook, who enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a long time member of the Eastwood Ho Country Club in Chatham.

The funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 16, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St., W. Boylston with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., W. Boylston. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, W. Boylston. Calling Hours are Friday, Oct. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cardiac Care Unit at the Cape Cod Hospital, 27 Park St. Hyannis, MA 02601
